Higher education in Russia has three levels. Bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies. Bachelor's degree lasts 4 years with a bachelor's degree. The Master's program lasts 2 years and leads to a master's degree. The doctoral program lasts 3-4 years and is a program for the preparation of candidates of sciences or doctors of sciences.
